Art Nouveau Poster

This poster is a modern interpretation of classic Art Nouveau design, featuring a woman gracefully riding a bicycle. Inspired by the flowing lines, organic forms, and decorative elegance of late 19th-century posters, the piece aims to blend timeless beauty with a sense of freedom and motion. The composition focuses on curves and natural movement—both in the posture of the rider and in the surrounding ornamental elements, swirling hair, and a flowing dress that echoes the lines of the bike wheels. The color palette is soft and muted, with earthy tones and pink accents, reflecting the era’s aesthetic while keeping the image warm and inviting. This project allowed me to study the visual language of Art Nouveau—particularly its use of symmetry, decorative borders, and integration of figure and background. It was also an exploration of femininity and independence, channeling the era's connection between bicycles and women's empowerment.
